"He chipped his knee two years ago. We have been watching that chip to make sure it hasn’t moved last Fourth of July. He went to turn the second barrel and he picked up his inside left leg and ran the pattern three legged. I had him in surgery a few days later to have the chip removed. The surgeon came out after surgery and said that the chip had went down and took a pretty good chunk away from the weight bearing part of the Cartlidge on the knee. She said that she had seen quite a few horses with the same injury that never got into a trot let alone ever ran again. She told us his odds were 95%. He would never trot or anything faster ever again."
Lynx received a combination of the saltwater spa and the treadmill however we focused on use of the treadmill in rebuilding his strength and endurance.
"Hey just wanted u to know lynx had his first runs back this weekend. He was 3rd yesterday with a 14.6 and came in today and ran a 14.3 and won it! Lots of happy tears shed this weekend! Thank you for being apart of his comeback story! Forever thankful!"
